Driver Seatbelt replacement

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I have been using the forum for a while but lost my account details and it was quicker to rejoin with "sign is with FB profile" so it looks like my first post but its not, hello again anwyay :-).

I have been looking through the site for info on replacing the driver seatbelt, it has completely worn at the buckle clip point, Skoda want £350 to replace the belt (I assume they would do the tensioner too at that price....) has anyone done this, I am told its very easy to do and can be done without removing the tenioner, but I don't want to start pulling things about without a reference guide for safely doing the job and ideally with torque values for any nuts etc.

I did an Audi A4 one about seven years ago but how I did it left me many many years ago.

Thanks for any help on this one, its much appreciated :-)
