Hi all just been topping up my windscreen washer bottle when I found this item on the grill under the bonnet, car was in for a service and mot 5 months ago any ideas.

Looks like the cap for the air con top up valves. Check the silver pipes running around the engine bay.

Cheers for the info fitted the cap onto the air con valve but now I’ve just found another same size cap on the grill, there is another valve without a cap but the one I’ve just found is too big, think I’ll pop into Skoda as they done the air con service 18 months ago.

youll probably have more than one valve so follow the system round and you’ll find the others. 

Hi again had a good look around could only find two valves but on further inspection I saw the small cap it had fallen down inside the wing panel fished it out with a piece of wire, think I’ll send Skoda Liverpool an email on the standard of work I know there only dust caps but they are fitted for a purpose, and having paid for air con service feel a bit miffed that the mechanic was a bit careless.
