Curious to see if you got this working in the end.

Hi,
I did not write anything on the forum - no time - we managed to assemble the heated mats.
Full of success !!

@mrnemesisman

But what are the heated seats in Australia. Are there any changes in the climate?
OKAY.
So you need:
Bordnez in the High version, if you do not have it, do not take it, because the exchange costs will eat you, but if you have the MQB version:

OEM Skody mats:
5E0963557 AA x2 BACK
5E0963555 J x2 SEAT

control temperature box (3AA959772) - you do not need it
Climate AC panel (5E0907044) with seat control, no matter if the letters A, B or L

As for the beam 5E0971365, unfortunately you will not buy it because it is the whole main beam that goes from the computer in the floor to
the front / back seats and more, in it you have everything you need as the car leaves the factory
You need to buy or make a bundle (2 bundles on the left and right side), for example, you attach such bundle to the computer and the fuse box.
At the end, an electrical diagram from O3
I bought such bundles:

If you have all this, you take out and "wash" the armchairs, mats on the adhesive tape to the sponge (so that it does not drive), the back
of the armchairs is tied back with the so-called tricks (the easiest). Originally for wire clips that you need to cut when you dismount
the material Coding (is on the internet) from what I remember is module 09 -> Instaled
And ready. As below

I recommend the video
https://youtu.be/t9P7XXvx1qQ

it is not an original set, but honestly - it will come cheaper and faster. Switches can be nicely stowed in the plastic of the seat. Only as to
the quality of these mats I will not say. OEM Skoda should last longer. It's this advantage

Minuses:
Cutting the cable to the fuse box (on the socket side). You need to remove the cushion (Airbag), or buy a so-called baipass fuse (2 in 1)
Armchairs. In my version (Style not RS) You have to cut the material from the backrest heating mat a little, and slightly fold the very p
art of the mat on the backrest, because in the original seat (not provided for heating) on the backrest of the backrest at the top of the
headrest (this part is marked on drawing) enters the wires from the heating system and could break the beam, break the wire
But maybe I'm wrong and you can somehow push it and bind the material to the sponge.

Have a fun

Hi,

I am looking to do this at some point in the near future

I am just trying to establish exactly what I need.

I have a 2017 Vrs 230 Fl hatchback

I have already purchased the control panel 5E0907044AQ / KL1335

I have been looking on Skoda parts and believe I need the following heated seat pads (I have fabric vrs seats)

5E0 963 555J X 2 - SEAT BASE

40590699_Screenshot_20240124_192057_SamsungInternet.thumb.jpg.002cf32ffd483f2f750cf4907e9bca3d.jpg

5E0 963 557AB - BACKREST

The issue I have is the website shows these fit an Octavia 3, however when I enter my vin it says doesn't fit. I am not sure if that is just because they were not a selected option on my actual vehicle when new.

The main question I have, is what exact Kufatec loom(s) do I need. Is it the ones shown below?

2029767364_Screenshot_20240124_193243_SamsungInternet.thumb.jpg.5a0e4ba3c0d2b73c8e1f0f624e1ebb3d.jpg1358479650_Screenshot_20240124_193440_SamsungInternet.thumb.jpg.6c0b041f30099276734a49cf20820c09.jpg

Any help or instructions will be much appreciated, especially with connecting it all. I have read all the threads I can find but they are not detailed enough or have adaptions like the old vw look etc.

Thanks in advance

Stuart
