Help Please...Magic Black colour??

Featured Replies

Hey all

I have a magic black 9910 fabia

i need a panel for mine and have finally found one from the same year as mine that is listed as:

magic black F9R

i have since after lots of research found that magic black has lots of different references eg 9910, F9R etc.

even on ebay there are touch up sticks that are sold as Magic Black 9910, F9R. Does this mean they will be a match for both??

does anyone know the difference between these two? Will it be noticeable on the car ?

thank you so much in advance

So,

which Fabia Model., what year is yours,

vRS, Monte Carlo or something else.   Ask the seller what the panel is off, year, model.

?What panel do you need?

Do they still put the paint code on a sticker in the boot?

Yes, on the VIN sticker.

& the codes posted in the OP. F9R,   and you will get it mixed with 9910

Thanks for your replies

Its an 08 1.2

i need a drivers side door

my paint code is black magic 9910

the replacement door i can get is black magic F9R

both black magic but codes slightly different

Is that the Code in your Boot and on the Sticker in the Service book.  9910.  Is it Black Magic  'Solid Black'?

To my memory there are 2 Solid Black Magic and Black Magic Pearl Effect.

Codes. 9910, 1Z, C9Z, Z4, F9R  from Halfords Cross matches, Black Magic,  then there is 1Z1Z

Yes 9910 is the code on sticker and in book

do you think an F9R door would bolt straight on and be a colour match?

Just get the seller to send a picture confirming Solid Black, Black Magic,

is it being sent to you. ?

Beware of that unless you have very good pictures,  or is it local?
