Replacing Amundsen+ with an aftermarket In Car Entertainment

Featured Replies

Hello Folks

I have a 2014 Yeti Black Edition which came with the Amundsen + entertainment system. but due to Samsung's dreadful bluetooth stack on the S8+ I cannot get the phone to connect for playing media. it works fine for phone calls.  I am now considering installing and aftermarket entertainment system. if I do replace the Amundsen will the reversing sensors still beep?

The reversing sensors and the bleeper are not related to the Amundsen at all. The bleeper is in the rear of the car. You'll probably lose the graphical display on the head unit, the steering wheel controls, decent handsfree integration etc. ,and you'll probably end up with a unit which does little any better (and probably worse) that the current unit.
