Well the Transport Minister for Scotland is calling for them, and others, so that will be that!

99% adhering to the speed limits on Trunk Routes sometime soon.

Rear facing aren't they?

Do they catch bikes and trikes?

Registration plates are at the rear, so they should,

or is that 1 in 100 bikes or trikes as well caught.    Or is it those over 75 mph that will get a NIP, or is it 77 mph?

Ask in a Freedom of Information request, only way you ever get the truth from Scottish Ministers,

and maybe then not.

They're so frustrating and boring to drive in.

Ok I'm adhering to the law but I'm bored dammit

Unfortunately it would appear a growing minority are spoiling it for the rest.

They had ASC on the M74 whilst it was being upgraded and it was a fantastic road to drive on. Fairly calm and relaxed. Nobody playing silly buggers.

Now they have been removed,  it is an absolute nightmare. Cars joining from the slip roads at ridiculous speeds. Outside lane toppers, meanwhile lanes 1&2 are traffic free for hundreds of metres.

The new Layout doesn't help either, especially where it splits northbound for M73. And the dedicated lane for the southbound services catches a lot of people out.

I hate driving on it now.

We have urban average speed cameras in Edinburgh, but it’s slightly flawed in the fact there is about 3 openings between the cameras so a lot of people do not get caught.
