Backing up xbox games

Featured Replies

As I am taking my xbox away with me and I didn't want all the hassle of carrying loads of discs, I thought hmm why not use the 80Gb hdd space :D I used a program called dvd2xbox (actually use it on the xbox) and wow it's great  No more lunking discs around anymore I am most pleased with it.

What chip and software are you using?

I am running an xecutor2 chip, 200gb hard disk and use it as a media centre "PC". Got all my games backed up, along with off site storage for my brother in laws collection :D

EvolutionX is the current launcher, but the first app in it's list is XBMC

Xbox media centre is pure genius once you have tweaked the .xml file and now it's hooked up to my ripped video folder, mp3 folder, and all my digi pics through the SMB share. Out over a little gigabyte wireless bridge and controlled with a wireless dvd remote and a couple of wireless joypads.

Who needs a 360 (well me actually if I win the freedom comp :D )

the xecutor is the best

I'm using the Xecuter and EvoX too. Took my 80Gig drive out again as I couldn't get the FTP file part sussed out.
