Probably thick question ... wire loop in tool kit

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the wire loop tool in the boot kit for?  I have just bought spare wheel, picking up jack later and transferred the other bits and pieces from the minimal tool kit I got with the car to my tool box.  Have the "tweezer" tool for removing nut caps, but almost missed the wire loop/hook ... thanks

Is it for removing the Wheel Centres (the ones that get a small hole.) or the front cover for where the Tow hood gets screwed in?

Wire hook is usually supplied to remove certain wheel hub caps.

A tool for removing plastic covers on the the wheel nuts.

And to remove rear light cluster covers from inside the car to change bulbs on some cars.

Thanks AG Falco
