Sport seats

Featured Replies

Hi,

Has anyone around here tried sport seats? How stiff/comfy wre they?

I could not found them in any showroom nearby.

Thanks.

Had them in my VRS, found them very comfortable,  I don’t think they are available yet on a Karoq. Will have to wait for a sportline version.

Interesting, they are available in Czechia for quite some time, yet I can't find any info about them ( not even in a showroom), apart from this video:

Seats name does not help google search at all :)

I guess I'll just roll a dice...

They look similar to vrs ones, and the guy seems happy with them :)

If/when sports seats arrive on the Karoq I'm sure they will be very comfortable in they are anything like the Yeti.

I ordered my Yeti with them even though I could not find a vehicle with them to try. I searched for a couple of months and could only find photos. They look similar to those in the video above, up to shoulder height. They are exceptionally comfortable, but I would not call them sports seats. They are a little bit snugger, have lumber support, tougher fabric and are nicely bolstered. They look similar in shape to the leather seats.

Sounds good,

I'll make sure to write a review when I get them.

Thanks,

Cvak,

here is a poor picture of my Yeti "sports" seats. In the flesh they are not so flat, bolstering is more pronounced.

Karoq's look more like a mix of Yeti and vRS sport seats.

Hi,

Can anyone tell if the sport seats are more confortable than the standard ones? Do they worth to be chosen?

Thanks!

I have sports seats . With grey stripes. I think its worth the money.

Generally the sports seats are firmer with bigger bolsters,  comfort is going to depend on hip size etc, if you are jammed against the bolsters because of wider hips wont be comfortable

The other thing to check is the lumbar adjustment, the electric versions tend to have more adjustment.  Useful if you are not average size.

Thank you for your feedback!

I discussed also with my dealer and he told me that they are more suitable for driving in town. He strongly recommended the standard ones, so I will go for them.

Having that hole and being fixed, are the headrests of the sport seats still comfortable? Couldn't be that a smaller person, let's say below 1.65m, have the head resting right on that hole?

How did you or your passengers feel them?

Thanks!

Hello, can you tell me your experience so far with the sport seats, especially on long trips (3-4 hours) , i saw them today in the salon and the side parts don't seem too hard so i guess they could even loosen a bit over time if they push you too more than you want.

Thanks !

My Karoq was actually build last week, so still waiting :), I tried sport seats for like 2h and liked them more then standard, especially shoulder area was much more comfortable.
I'll write a report in ~2 weeks when I get my Karoq from dealership.

Thank you for the respond, my karoq is coming this or the next week so i will also let you know how i like it.

So after 3h on highway, I love sport seats.
Really comfortable, especially shoulder area is a lot better than standard seats IMO.

I still think they could be a bit wider, but that is the same on standard.

I have done 3 000 km in the sport seats so far and i am very pleased, also did 4 hour trips on the highway.

Sorry for reviving this thread also :)

How are you people satisfied with sport seats so far?

I would like to get them as an upgrade for stock seats.

How is the head rest, it seems very forward inclined compared to the stock seats.

is it a problem or is it fine on longer trips?
