Audio file name query

Featured Replies

Hi,

My 2012 Yeti has the Bolero unit fitted.  I have lots of music in mp3 format on an SD card, which works fine, apart from one niggle.  Every track has its' details displayed as "Filename.mp3", rather than just as "Filename".  This makes reading the track names harder and so is an irritation.

Can this be changed?  Is this something to do with the way I've created the files, or a setting on the Bolero unit?  (I can't find anything in the manual).

Thanks

Simon

I don't know I'm afraid but on mine I have another problem where it misses the first couple of seconds of every track. I believe it's a firmware version issue (which Skoda can't/won't fix). I'd be interested to know what fw version you're running (if you don't have this issue)?
