VAG part number finder

Featured Replies

Here I've found several very useful sites you can use to find parts, cross reference part numbers and dimensions as well as check chassis options via VIN.

http://www.oemepc.com

http://www.vehiclepartsdatabase.com

http://optikoop.com.mk/autoparts/

http://carinfo.kiev.ua/cars/vin/skoda

* ECP Buying tip, I've found their ads on eBay are cheaper than in store/online even with discount codes.  Also look out for package deals e.g. 4 discs+pads, engine oil+filter.  It pays to look for a complete solution rather than buy the cheapest parts individually.

Thanks

You're welcome, I hope others find their maintenance budget goes further with this.

Using the various sites you can input your VIN, get your chassis options.  Find part numbers from exploded diagrams and cross reference aftermarket equivalents with pictures and dimensions.

All this because Skoda wanted £101 for one front suspension spring and two had already failed just outside the 2 year warranty... Forget it!

I bought 2 equivalent springs for £50 delivered.
