It has been well advertised and most people realised - that's why we had a new car boom last year that has now dried up!

 

It's fairly striaght forward - for most cars below £40k it's a flat rate of £140 (hybrid £130)

 

However car tax for a bottom of the range Ford Mustang being the same as a Skoda Citigo is bonkers! 

 

 

Makes the pure EVs even more economic sense and that is the most important factor to deal with the most important issue which is urban pollution.
