I have smart link showing in the menu, and I know I have to get it activated by the stealer, now a question , once activated and connected, can you play media through the unit screen from your phone, like sky or amazon films, or even tube vids???.

Anyone worked out how to activate it without going to a dealer yet???

No, you cannot. Look up "Android Auto" and "Apple Car" - what it does is give you access to a limited number of apps that reside on the phone and are specifically formatted to work well with the headunit.

 

Mostly, you can get some Spotify, Navigation, Phone/Contacts and that's it - also a few podcast applications available.
