Hi does a replacement throttle position sensor have to be programmed to car, it was used part. Car is superb 2013 2.0 diesll.  I'm getting p0121 code, any help please.

Ive just had mine off as I replaced the egr valve as the throttle position valve is attached  to the egr.

 

when the valve is off the car it should be open. If the one you are putting back on is open then I think int might work?

 

 

Hi it's the throttle pedal I've replaced, but now been told it's throttle body that could be blocked up. Going to get it taken off and cleaned this wkend, many thanks Andy

Had the same code P0121 and EML on.  Replacing the throttle pedal and cancelling code error Fixed the problem
