My rapid has done 11.5K on the ODO. My friend recently pointed out that there is grinding noise when I steer my vehicle. It is very mild until you notice.

This is more evident with increased weight in the car.

Also, right from the time of purchase the steering has been a bit tight.

Any one else faced the same issue or come across it?

Anything steering related should not be left and at 11k is it still in warranty ? for the sake of a few quid talk to a local garage ask around for a reputable one

The suspension strut mounting had to be replaced because it was worn out. It is not covered under warranty.

The charge amounted to 2.6K(1.1 for parts and 1.5 for labor) :(

I was extremely disappointed with the quality.
