I have a 2011 superb estate with a columbus system, it works well and does what I need however I do high mileage for work and want to get DAB

 

my question is this, will a window ariel work well enough with a heated windscreen and if so, can I mount it vertically on one edge to avoid the heating elements?

 

so, if anyone knows or has a DAB unit available, I would be grateful.

sounds good, what are we looking at cash wise and how would this work, im in Basingstoke so you are a long way from me.

 

I can’t be without the sat nav due to work so I would need to get the new unit and send mine to you, maybe I could pay full price to you then you pay me when my unit arrives? 

 

I assume the voice control, steering wheel controls etc will still work if I swappped over and how do I get the unit out? I have a mk3 folf which was easy but cant see how the columbus comes out
