Columbus vehicle coding

Featured Replies

I have been trying to get my Columbus satnav head unit coded to my car, with no luck.

A car audio shop near me who has vcds said i would have to go through a dealer as he couldnt do it with his vag com. (vcds. vgcom??)

Whats the script here. Do i need to go to a stealer or can it be done outside the stealership.

The system is working although no phonebook capability in bluetooth, satnav in maxidot, doors open display etc.

I do have heated seats and climate control and reverse radar on the screen and some others. Not sure if its worth the hassle to get it coded. Just annoying to think i may be missing some of the systems features. (the reason for upgrading).

Yes VCDS can code that.

Maybe the guy doesn't know how to do it. He was banging on about limitations as to what he could do, or maybe he misunderstood what i was after.
