Help please with Bluetooth audio

Featured Replies

Hello there can some please help me with a issue im having on my 2014 elegance estate. Iv only just had it a week now so it could be something simple , my bt audio was working fine, now when I try to play it will only recognise one track but wont play it , it also mutes the volume by putting a small red line through a speaker image on the touch screen hope that makes sense and you can help ....ian

The thing with muted audio sounds normal to me. If you change source from BT audio to radio (for example) when the BT source was paused, for some reason it thinks you want the audio muted. Hence it turns volume all the way down to zero. Mine does this. Easy enough to cope with.

Not sure about your other problem, but have you tried doing a search?

Maybe we should have a sticky thread on here for Bluetooth problems because Skoda seem to have made their implementation somewhat troublesome.

Sadly not uncommon with Bluetooth - because it is a Self Certified standard so a BT stack developer tests their software themselves which means they test using the same wrong assumptions they made when developing the software!

IMHO (as a retired software developer and tester) Self Certification is always a disaster waiting to happen...
