Isize car seat which fits fabia estate?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I want to buy an isize car seat for my daughter but it's proven difficult in my fabia estate because the isofix are very low and the seats are at a slight angle. It took 2 people from Mothercare 20 minutes to install a car seat in my car and its base was "floating" (only the edge of the base was touching the seat), meaning my daughter would have been upright despite the various recline positions of the car seat.

I know each car seat has a list of compatible vehicles but the lists don't take the angles of the seats and the positions of the isofix into consideration; hence my current predicament.

So, does any of you have an isize car seat which sits properly on your fabia's seats? If so, could you please let me know which car seat you have?

Thanks in advance,

Chris.

I have a Joie every stage, it isn't isofix but it is a really good seat and once belted up and the passenger seat pushed back in to it, it is very secure. It is £180 at babies R us however they do price guarantee so I got it for £140
