hi there i am a new skoda octavia fan , i am from Egypt about to get my first octavia ever , i am planning to get the A5 - 1.6 engine , i cant wait to get it but i have to sell my car ( fiat Punto ) firsat and then get it , wish me luck guys and i am gonna keep you posted , what color shall i get it ! any recommendations

Are you 'from' Egypt living in england, or are you 'in' Egypt and an Egptian? Just being nosey:yeahdude: Does Egyptian spec differ to GB? Prices etc. As for colour its got to be Sahara Beige:P . Hope you sell the Fiat soon and welcome to the Community

Hello everyone, I'm experiencing an issue with my brake pedal (basically going to the floor), and I suspect it might be related to the ABS module. I tried to scan the ABS unit for fault codes using VCDS, but I’m unable to communicate with it: it seems like CAN communication is not available. Is this normal on a Fabia Mk2 (5J), or should I definitely be able to access the ABS module via CAN? Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Evening, just looking to see if anyone is experiencing the same issue as me with my Karoq 1.5 Tsi (73 plate)…. So the car has perhaps half a dozen times or more cut out completely when slowing down, no stall / kangaroo or otherwise, power simply gone, resulting in me having to restart the car when in a rolling motion. Very unnerving especially with traffic approaching. I’ve tried to recreate the event on quiet roads with no success so I’ve no idea what action causes this. I had thought

Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again
