Hi. Getting delivery of manual 1.5 SE Tech tomorrow at home (leased). What do I need to check apart from condition ? Should it come with :

 

- DVD for the nav ?

- Codes for the nav / connections?

- Anything else ?

I would call the salesperson today and tell them the tyre pressures you would like.  If not or even if you do,  when you get there after checking the car over for the smallest of defect,  check the tyre pressures and set the TPMS.  That gives am idea of the cars preparation.   Check the oil level cold on collection,  and at operating temp when home. Again you know the standard of the prep.  Look where the coolant is when doing that.   Then enjoy the car.         Edit,  doh missed the home delivery.    So take particular care checking the bodywork,  wheels and interior.

No DVD on the SE Tech, SD card should already be in the unit in the glove box complete with the empty case. As far as I know there are no codes the infotainment is coded to the vehicle should it ever be removed.

If you have the infotainment system then the free online services will need to be registered via the app, using the vehicles VIN number.

 

Once you get to a certain point the app will present you with a code that needs to be entered into the infotainment system in order to activate everything.

Is it being delivered on a trailer? Zero miles.

 

Or did the delivery driver Run It In gently for you on the way ?

 

Ah ah. Never had a new car with 0 miles. I guess it would have to be picked up form the production line for that.

 

It arrived with 22 miles on the trailer. Not too bothered tbh, they may well have used it for a test drive I guess. At the price I am paying for the lease I wasn't even expecting it to be new !
