TST5000 T-Gloss protection...

Featured Replies

As is usual nowadays with dealers they've offered for 375 quid a protection system for the paint and interior on the new Fabia (sliver).

This is 'TST5000' T-Gloss teflon protection, a multi-stage heat bonded professionally applied system designed to last over 5 years (and a 'guarantee' too).

This looks different to the usual diamondbrite and other such stuff like the discontinued Simoniz Teflon range in that you don't actually need to keep waxing with anything.

Now, can anyone quantity the difference - is it really 375 quid better than nothing (well, actually I'd apply my remaining Simoniz Teflon stuff and scotchgard to the interior)

I will say I am tempted because of the situation re water shortage down here in the South means cleaning of cars being banned a very real possibility.**

Thoughts?

**lack of water to clean the thing might be an excuse to drive up north though :)
