Giro D'Italia 2018, team and officials estate cars.

Featured Replies

Nice estates out there that i see on the highlight programme on Quest every evening.

Especially the Alfa Romeo's.

There are the Skodas & MINI's,  but it is the blue Fiat that interests me, i take it is a FIAT Tipo estate.   Can anyone confirm that?

Havnt seen any of it tbh, so cant confirm. But there is an estate tipo.

Saw a few in Sicily at easter. And a few hatchback tipos here too recently too. Its not an offensive car, reasonably good looking to be fair.

But.. you still end up with

a Fiat

Is the constant worry and anxiety everytime you here a noise worth it?

Cheers.

I will go check them out. Going to look at a Focus estate as well. (Kia Ceed SW not comfy)

I see there is the 1.6 petrol / auto or the 1.6 diesel Tipo is available in the UK with the DDCT and maybe for much cheapness. Edit, about £15,000

I want a Fabia sort of size automatic estate but not with a 1.0 litre petrol engine, a 1.6 diesel with a DDCT box will do. just fine.

Requirements are, low enough roof with roof bars to put bikes on easily but not too long a car. Solid easy touch up paint colour, 16" wheels, no bling, just KISS. New or nearly new.

I went to look today.

To Arnold Clark Scotland's biggest car dealer group.

5 Tipo Hatch in the showroom, and OK front space wise, seats seemed fine, foot space as well.

So i asked the Sales Person about Estates and a Diesel Automatic, the DDCT.

No such car i was told.

Yes there is i say. There are ones for sale on Autotrader.    So off to ask,  & 'No such car',  check the FIAT website says me.

Could not find it because they look at the Motability car search for ease and are hopeless at that.

So will look see at a proper Car Dealership sometime, one that has not hundreds and hundreds of cars outside, at least 6 franchises on the same site and that wants to flog what they have in stock or on the way and really clueless.
