2018 VRS Diesel First Impressions

A week in to ownership and loving it. Loads of space, bags of torque, good handling and great mpg. Hard to fault! And a marked improvement on short term lease car prior to it - petrol turbo Insignia SRI. That got great review by Autocar but not sure why..... Done almost 1000 miles and at one with car. Gone are the ridiculous "aids" of the Insignia where every 10 miles it would flash up a collision on the dash and advise you were about to run a pedestrian over. Happily in the 3 months and 6000 miles I did, no accidents and no pedestrians harmed...

Missus likes it too (large boot equals good choice daddy with 2 young kids)  Nothing thus far to fault. Thank you Skoda
