It's a good reference and BH clay is bloody good value too.  The fact you can use it with just water is an added bonus but a little lube never hurt anyone now, did it?! :)

Ha ha. Agreed. I only use bilt hamber clay for the same reasons.

I always strip off any wax from my car before claying using a wax removal product, iron x and tar remover

so i use some fairy liquid in water as clay lube as some clay lubes claim to add protection which would be pointless if youre about to compound and polish the car

 

3M has a very decent clay bar too. You can use it with use it with water but in my mind you need a splash of quick detailer in there to lube up the surface that way you won’t introduce any marring. :hi:

Found the same/similar clay bare now on sale at HDD and In2Detailing.

 

So quite a saving if bought from therer....

 

Waxstock price from in2detailing was £8.... so i grabbed  a few. :thumbup:
