Covering rear seat cushion foam

Featured Replies

As the title suggests I have covered the seat cushion foam that is on view when the rear seats are folded down. I have always disliked it and thought it looked cheap. I thought of an idea the other day and gave it a try. I used weed control barrrier that I had already got , wasn't sure if it would work out but was quite impressed with the result. I aloud about 4cm of extra fabric to tuck in round the edges. It was a bit of a fiddle pushing the fabric under the seat metalwork,  but I took less that an hour to do the job.

Not too shabby, if you tend to have the seats up often!I had thought of using fabric dye to blacken mine but never got round to it. Also, a section of the boot matting, if found easily, might do a more "Factory" Look but overall, nice post!

Too many people suffer from OCD nowadays. :wait:
