Hi guys totally gutted had lovely cold aircon last night now on my way home iv got nothing but hot air comming out gutttttted :( scanned with my vcds and I get the error

00989 control circuit a/c compressor 

010- open or short to plus 

 

anybody got any ideas as to what’s wrong iv checked fuse numbe 4 and it’s ok :( 

Follow the wiring back from the N280 control solenoid on the compressor, hoping to find a broken wire?

Nar all cables are ok as are fuses so looking at swapping pump now as that seems a common fault but my current pump is part number 1ko 820 859 f and I have a spare pump from an engine I broke witch is 1ko 820  803 n does anyone no any reason why they wouldn’t work ?? Mounting points look the same from what I can see as do pipes fittings
