No Phone contacts in maxidot

Featured Replies

I have my phone paired with Bluetooth and it shows in the instrument panel's maxidot but when I roll the thumb wheel I can only get calls (all the previous incoming and outgoing)  I want the contacts which worked straight out of the box with the Yeti :(

Contacts can be accessed in the columbus but can't get them on the maxidot. Any one know how or got it to work.  Don't always have infotainment on but should be able to make calls from the maxidot.  any help thanks.    TJ

What is the 'maxidot'?

hi the display between the speedo and the tacko  in the instrument panel    thanks

I haven't seen any options to change what's displayed - I've only seen it display recent contacts.

The voice control is pretty decent - have you given that a go? Just make sure you've sorted contacts by first name otherwise it's a bit funny.

Just checked on mine and it looks like all my telephone directory is available in the maxidot. Did you use the back button on the steering wheel to get to Telephone, then rotate the thumb wheel to access a number. I'm fairly certain that they are all there as there's loads of telephone numbers that come up which I've never rung or received calls from.

hi thanks,  can't find anything useful in the manual or e manual. Or any where else. Thanks for checking.  Seems that the only thing shown is calls (received/sent/missed) but no contacts .  Works fine in my Yeti (kept it )   You think tech would go forward not back anf loose features.

Tried the voice control (didn't use this in the Yeti, might revisit this) and it works quite well and activates from the steering wheel.  However it requires the Columbus to be on.  On yeti you can just glance ahead at the MFD/maxidot.  Voice tells you whats happening .  I will adapt.
