Good morning friends I ask your help.

I have a little problem with setting in vcds . I need use the fog light as drl for this I set vcds in this mode :

- leuchte 12nl light function e12 i have  set in stored value drl

- in dimming ef12 I have set 10

This is good for me e this is the result 33dl1ex.jpg

Now the problem. I need use the fog light with this dimmer also when the low beam is active and I set the vcds in this mode :

-leuchte 12nl light function g12 I have set in stored value abblendlicht

- in dimming gh12 I have set 10

This is the result

I have a luminous intensity of the light of the fog lamps different even if in dimming I have always set value 10. How can I set the vcds codes correctly to have the same light intensity as the first picture in both cases?

I have never tried to make this change, but, normally, the DRL will only function or be active when the headlights are not on, when the headlights are on the DRL will get switched off, so after making your change in coding using VCDS, the lighting controller must now consider that as you want the fog light to be on, it is switching it to full brightness when you switch the head lights on?

Or maybe you have made an error in your recoding using VCDS?

?

Is there much fog where you drive that requires fog lights and DRL's (Daytime / Daylight running lights) and not Fog Lights and Dipped Headlights,

or is it just a stylee thing to do having on Fogs and DRL's at the front and no rear lights on?
