Driving Experience days - recommendations? (4x4, Rally etc?)

Featured Replies

I'm planning my stag and I'd really love to have a go at doing something like a 4x4 off-roading experience, or a track day or something similar.

There will be either 4 or 6 of us involved, so I just wondered if anyone has done anything like this and could recommend one, ideally in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, the North East or Cumbria?

Obviously we'd each want a decent amount of time behind the wheel, whether that's a couple of sessions where we all ride in and take turns (if its a 4x4 thing, obviously can't do it with race cars) or where we drive 2 or 3 in convoy or something like that. I'm not so fussed for supercars or luxury sports cars like Aston or Mazerati if I'm honest.

Any recommendations gratefully received!

Buy an hours gokarting perhaps.    We had great fun.

Off road quadbiking is great fun too and you would get to go round in a group rather than taking one shot at a time.

Standard supercar experiences really won't be suitable for a stag group. Lots of standing around, no real group type atmosphere and limited driving time. Quads or go karts are your best bet for length of time actually driving. I'm the owner of experiencedays.co.uk (shameless self plug) and I've tried most of these things. I'm not trying to sell anything as we're not the best bet for big groups. We don't work with them but these guys looked like they had a really good set up when I've driven past them http://kankku.co.uk/experiences.html
