Alarm and locking question

Featured Replies

Alarm been sounding a few times lately. Will get this checked out but meantime is there a way to secure the car without activating the alarm / siren? Don't want to pee neighbours or really

Assuming it's the same as on my Superb, press the lock button twice in succession. First press locks and sets alarm, second press disables alarm. Red flashing LED no longer flashes.

If you have KESSY, tap the door handle twice.

Normal one press = inner door LED blinks steadily straight after initial rapid blinks. 2 presses = LED stays off for a while after initial rapid blnks.. After a while it blinks steadily again.

Sound the same?

Press the button inside the drivers door that is to stop the interior sensors, like when their are animals in the car, or car on a ferry, car transporter.

I suspect your battery in the siren is going flat.  They are a 5 year Service Replacement item.

Obviously some sirens are 8 years old or older, some are not lasting that long.
