Anyone confirm phone Bluetooth speakers?

Featured Replies

Hi all

Can anyone tell me when making a mobile phone call via Bluetooth through the

controls on the steering wheel or via Columbus if its through a dedicated phone

speaker,or through the cars stereo speakers?  Thanks Chris

Factory bluetooth should be through the normal speakers the headunit uses.

If it's aftermarket, then it'll depend on what it is but most still use the normal speakers.

Thanks, thought it was going to be. I’m really baffled,iPhone connected everything showing, contacts ,

the lot, dials numbers just can’t hear a thing through the cars speakers,If I click on speaker icon

on phone can hear the ring tone.It shouldn’t make any difference to the hands free connection

but their is a bury hands free base unit fitted, according to the handbook by using that it gives

better reception and charges the phone, but other than that it shouldn’t stop me connecting

a phone independently of the base unit. Its that I’m a bit reluctant to buy a dedicated iPhone

7plus adapter from bury at around £80,and it still doesn’t work.Any ideas.

PS I’ve reset the MFD to factory settings, and the Columbus, and pulled the plugs on the

Bluetooth unit under the seat.
