Panoramic mirror

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a panoramic mirror that will fit a Karoq 1.5 TSi SEL DSG as I have restricted neck movement?

Not sure whether it's panoramic enough, but I use a "Cheetah Speed Camera  Detector" mirror, bought many years ( & cars !) ago that clips easily onto any existing mirror. It provides a much greater field of view to the usual rear view mirrors, and I've continued to swap it from car to car without any problem. Although my Karoq, Edition trim, has the auto dimming facility which is now hidden by the Cheetah of course, this is negated by the fact the Cheetah has been specially treated to reduce glare. If you don't want the speed detection mode & wish to use it purely as an elongated mirror, don't plug the cable in - hope this helps.

PS I used to live in Neston, Wirral !

Further to my last, I've just seen one on the Mobility Smart website, (non speed detector) , priced at £26.78, and loads more on Amazon priced a lot less !

Hi JKW. I too have a Cheetah Speed Camera Detector C550 in my current car but have never seen one that is built into a panoramic mirror, maybe Cheetah don’t do it any more. Another Forum member also mentioned Amazon and there was a popular one for £9.99 with free delivery. However, I have decided to wait until I get my Karoq and see how I get on with the fitted mirrors before making a purchase. Neston is a lovely town a short drive from where I live just down the road from Arrowe Park.

The standard rear view mirror in the Karoq covers the view through the rear window completely, so any additional view may not help you much.

Thanks for the heads-up Agerbundsen.
