New (to me) Octavia with stained alcantara

Featured Replies

So I didn't see this on the test drive or on collection. I've emailed the garage to see if they will clean it for me but I suspect they wont.

What would be the best thing / technique to clean this from the seat? I have access to a karcher puzi 10/1 cleaning machine which has an upholstery attachment.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Go into halfords and buy some turtle wax interior1 cleaner, i find that it works great on stains, if it doesnt come out you may have to wet vac it

I quite like the Autogylm interior cleaning stuff - the foam I've found to be effective in the past. Also available in Halfords;

And effective on alcantara.

As you've got access to a wet/dry vac, I'd probably use that after getting the worst of it out with the foam. And do the other seat bases and backs. As you've bought it 2nd hand, you might be surprised how much grime comes out!
