Now its an option on MY1019 vehicles, I wonder if it can be realistically retrofitted to an MY17/18 245.........

The thread details a retrofit on a 2015 car. As you have an FL you will already have a radio with a fibre optic connection so you’ll need a new cluster and a new can gateway along with a fibre optic cable to connect the cluster to the radio. Once you have that and an awful lot of coding you’ll be there
