I've just ordered an Octavia 1.5 SE Tech Estate car on PCH last week. Garage didn't have much information on colour choice available for the Octavia other than the usual metal ball things on a rack plus various cars being pointed out to me on the forecourt. Thought I'd play safe and order Business Grey the same colour as the Yeti that I have just now. Had only just got home from the garage and I got a phone call to say that Business Grey was no longer available and that Maple Brown was the replacement colour in the range but it seems to have been out for a while now looking online. But it wasn't one of the colours that was shown to me and I certainly don't remember seeing any cars there in that colour or anything like it.

 

I would have liked the new metallic red but that is very expensive to say the least. Not all that keen on black or white cars, had Cappucino Beige before in my last Octavia which was kind of alright but not all that exciting. Quartz Grey is just a shade dark for my taste but very nice when its clean, the Business Grey is quite forgiving when not washed for a while! Anyway I was kind of put on the spot and did a quick internet search and found an image of an Octavia supposedly in Maple Brown which looked quite Bronze and I thought that would be okay and said to order the car in that colour. But looking online since then I've seen other photographs and videos which make it look much more brown than bronze! Has anyone here actually got an Octavia in that colour and likes it?

 

I guess there is still time to change the colour as the car build is currently scheduled for Week 8, 2019 but the colour choice isn't all that inspiring to say the least, can't think of much else other than Silver that would be fairly safe!

My car is "Topaz Brown" according to 2013 brochure. Looks good after some wax, not as good as a silver Mercedes but I think more classy than other colours.

 

Some browns can look really good, but if you can’t get an accurate idea of the colour, I would go for the Quartz Grey from the list of choices that you have. I have come to quite like the colour over the last 11 months, even though I didn’t at first
