hello got a fabia mk2 1.4tdi with a flashing glow plug light and engine light that stays on.

 

scanned it and got a fault code p1400, egr valve (n18) electrical malfunction.

 

Ive already replaced the egr valve and checked/tested glow plugs but I still have the lights on dash

 

any idea?

Its an electrical malfunction for the operating solenoid so I would be checking the wiring from the engine ECU to the solenoid.

the solenoid with the 3 vac pipes in and one plug on the left hand side of engine bay?

 

edit: just checked the plug on the solenoid I described above and its got power there. broken solenoid?
