Hi everyone - I'm looking to switch to my first VRS so I thought I'd join up

Welcome to the forum. Do you know whether it will be hatch/estate, petrol/diesel or manual/DSG transmission and what colour?

Thanks.  I want the petrol estate with DSG.  If I'm able to choose colour then probably race blue or quartz grey.  The snag is that I want DCC (thanks to reading this forum!), which makes my preferred idea of buying a nearly new car almost impossible since it seems to be so rare in the used market.  So I might go down the leasing route instead, except all the sites I've looked at seem to be out of date - you get a choice of a 6-speed 230 with 18" wheels, or a 7-speed 245 on 19s, which sounds like the outgoing ones.  If I've got the gist of the confusing spec changes, I think I should be seeing just one option of a 7-speed 245 on 18s.  Does all that sound about right?

Yeah new petrol Vrs comes with the 7 speed DSG and 18" alloys with 2 chrome exhaust tips but with more choice on colour now including Metallic Race Blue and even Velvet Red which was available on the Karoq Edition models.

Hmm, looks like some leasing sites are offering all three versions as new, with the one that looks like MY19 being called Black Pack.  I've reported it and apparently CAP will sort it out as they provide the data
