Hi Guys just signed up, hope you are all well. was wondering if anyone could shed some light, 59 plate octavia tdi pd got a used cluster from breaker, took to local indie to have coded to car, couldnt accept code, spoke to dealer they said it may or may not accept code but are willing to try for £97 + vat if the used cluster already has a code then they may not be able to delete it. Anyone know if this is the case. I read about Eddie_ but as I am a newbie I cant yet use the PM service on here. Thanks in advance.

Well it looks like its going to have to be a repair rather than a replacement. was thinking BBa reman or the likes or if anyone on here does repairs on dash clusters.
