Bought the wife a CUBE Access a few months ago.

 

With the manuals and paperwork etc. there was a little plastic bag with this rubber grommet / plug. It's soft rubber, not hard plastic.

 

Been scratching my head, and scouring the internet to try and work out what its for, and if it needs to used to plug a hole somewhere on the bike.

 

Any ideas?

 

 

 

For scale, closest thing to hand 

 

 

Is there an exposed allen bolt head at the top of the headset holding the top cap that this could push into until it gets lost?

Honestly, I've spent a good 15 minutes pushing it into as many holes as possible, except probably the most obvious one
