Hi guys 

I've recently bought a Skoda Octavia. And only realised yesterday that when I'm sitting in idle mode and rev up it won't go above 3500 revs it just won't rev up past this point is this normal or us there an issue with my car

It's the electronics protecting the engine from being damaged whilst it is cold and not upto operating temperature. In future posts if you give more details such as age of vehicle, petrol or diesel and manual or DSG plus mileage others will be able to help with any questions you may have. Welcome to the forum.
