Suspention

Featured Replies

Hi I have had a creaking squeaking coming from my rear suspension so I jack up the back removed the wheel sprayed lub on the bushes they are solid and in place. But while I was there i noticed the shiney metal on this bracket but can not see what this is rubbing on as then the car is down it fits behind the plastic guard round the wheel arch. Hope the picture  of the suspension helps some some to identify the problem.

cheers

Looks like some Servicing and maintenance and a bit of power washing at not much pressure would be a start.

Sorry, no idea what i am looking at in the picture.

Hi Skoffski

i found a better picture, what i am looking at is the welded axle (18) and the bracket in question is (30) mount for rear axle what would cause this to get bashed . the bracket fits on the axle where the bush (17) fits. Yes the pressure washer would help :D

Has your car been near a Tyre Fitter or a Garage / Workshop and someone has used a trolley jack?
