Apparently he was not a particularly nice man to his wife I was told! Great journalist though  The 80s had the best journos as well as cars methinks

I've just read the collection is a Sotherbys auction assortment

Why are they all parked on what looks like rubber blocks?

Is it so the movers can put the trolley / skates under the tyres and move the cars? 

So it looks like there were only about 5 manufactures in the 1970/80/90 then ,for the masses ?? Don't think so.
