Can anyone tell me why the gear indicator on dashboard of my Fabia dsg gearbox starts flashing after about 15 mins of driving. It’s only started last week and had service in December

Not got a spanner flashing, just letter and numbers. Feeling hopeful 

Still under warranty I hope.

Nope! Brought it  from someone 18 months sgo

When was the car first registered and how many miles has it done?

 

Was it Serviced at a Main Dealers?

 

Nothing gets done at Service to the DQ200  DSG unless maybe Service Campaign / Software Update is available or required but you should be asked and told about that.

Asked if you want it and told if carried out.

 

The was a Service Campaign on some DQ200 DSG's from 2013-2015. 

& since then there are some DQ200's from 2015 not part of this that have had issues. 

 

Ask in writing the Dealership about your DSG and was anything done.

Have a diagnosis carried out, and just because not in the Manufacturers Warranty of 3 years that does not mean they can ignore Fundamental faults, desgin, manufacturing, parts software etc.
