I'm due to go on a 400 mile round trip and need to know if anywhere can help me out tomorrow (Sunday) with replacing a caliper due to the brake binding.

 

So far I can only see Kwik Fit but would think they'd charge the earth

 

 

I found my Kwik fit excellent on a Sunday when I had just failed an MOT on my Alhambra at F1 autocentres on a hole in my Cat rear pipe. The Kwik fit manager looked at it and quoted me a very reasonable £176 about 60% of F1's price, I said yes, but when? He said 2 hours, and true to his word new cat fitted with stainless bolts and new clamps, looked a quality part too. He said Sunday was quiet and was happy to get any work. I was amazed.

 

Might have been an exception I admit.
