I have a 10-plate Octavia 4x4 and last week the passenger side parking light started flickering on and off while the car was parked. I started the car and the left-hand indicator started to flash, then stop, then flash... Putting the switch to the right put the right-hand signal on but neutral position kept the left signal flashing intermittently. Had a new indicator switch fitted and all was fine for a week of use, until today when this fault returned. The car was parked and hadn't been used for 24hrs. The auto-spark who changed the switch did remark that the parking light came on/off when the old switch was stripped out! The new switch and fault light reset seemed to have cleared the fault...until now.

Does anyone have any ideas what the cause might be?

I,ve had LED bulbs start to flash on and off like that. Cheapo jobbies they were !
