Amundsen Import custom route?

Hello, in nav menu there is an import route option. Does anyone knows how this works? Can seem to be able to import anything whatever format i use. I have used the Garmin format or Google format but to no avail, system does not find anything.

I am not talking about importing POI's which is a function that is pretty useless in my opinion if you want to create a custom routes with waypoints as I do in BaseCamp.
