Is a pedal box classed as an engine mod for insurance ? Or would it be classed as something else?

With my insurance I told them very clearly what it did (and didn't do) and said it was an internal modification. They were cool with the fact that it didn't increase BHP or make the car "faster". They didn't charge me any extra premium or admin fee, but noted it on my policy as: internal modification - other. Hope that helps.

I'd check with your insurance provider. Its best to declaire it rather than keeping your mouth shut then getting found out later on.
