Does any one have any advice for routing the cables for a rear view dash cam?

 

I am slightly concerned about the wires coming near to the side airbag and would like ideas for routing the cable to the camera at the rear in a way that it will protect it from wear when the hatch (boot) is opened.

 

I have always taken the boot cover off and fished the cable through the rubber where all the other cables are run then across just underneath the plastic by the headliner and along the top of windscreen to the camera.
