Does anyone have a rough idea what it is likely to cost to get a rear wheel bearing replaced? Skoda Mk2 Superb

Anyone - even a rough idea

I'm pretty sure I read a post that gave a dealer prices of around £170 - 200 for rear bearings and £200 - 220 for fronts.

Thanks TheRobinK - at least it gives me an idea. Booked it in so will just have to wait and see, not main dealer as I will be part ex the car in about 6-7 weeks but have one long trip to do before then and can't risk it failing

Just to point something out

have you checked your tyres for Sawing ?? It sounds like wheel bearings on the way out

may be worth a check if you haven’t heard of it

Thanks for that Snapper1725 - I had checked this. My last car (Saab 95) used to turn rear tyres into 50p pieces!
